Film Financing by ILB

We provide customized financing for your film and promote productions in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.

"Wadjda" is the Saudi-Arabian Oscar candidate film. The film production was supported by ILB with a gap and a cash flow financing loan as well as with public funding by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. Legal and commercial handling of this film funding is also managed by ILB.

Here you can find brief information regarding our three film financing options:

• Cash flow financing for film productions
  Cash flow financing secures the necessary liquidity as long as the main financing funds have not yet been paid out.
• Gap financing for films
  Gap loans can be used to close gaps in film financing. The loan is repaid from the revenues generated by the exploitation of the film.
• Funding by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH
  Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg provides loans and grants for film and media projects which are at least partly carried out in Germany’s Berlin-Brandenburg region.
